The main aim of this one day Taping workshop is to enable learners to gain the practical and theoretical skills necessary to provide taping and strapping for the Sport and Active Leisure Industry.

Purpose of this workshop is to enrich practitioners’ understanding of taping and strapping techniques relevant to general support and to limit specific movement. 

​

Using a combination of Athletic Tape such as Zinc Oxide, and Kinesiology Tape, we will look at the best applications for both to use in a sport or clinical environment. Subjects covered will be:

• Different types of tape

• Athletic Taping for support and limiting movement

• Support

• Pain Relief

• Lymphatic Drainage

• Fascial Taping for Posture

Entry Requirements 

This course is suitable for candidates with level 3 or above sports massage/therapy qualifications.
