Muscle Energy Techniques have been used effectively to restore soft tissue dysfunction for many decades, and remain the staple of many good therapists 'toolbox'.  On this practical based course you will learn how to safely and effectively apply Muscle Energy Techniques across a wide range of muscle groups.

We will be looking at the following techniques under the Muscle Energy Techniques 'umbrella':

• Post Isometric Relaxation (PIR)

• Reciprocal Inhibition (RI)

• Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF)

 

Entry Requirements: This workshop is suitable for all manual therapists (massage, remedial, sports) and bodyworkers and therapists who work with soft tissue dysfunction.
