AHG ACCESS COURSE

This course has been designed as an entry course for higher level AHG courses, for candidates that do not hold a suitable Level 3 Sports Massage qualification.

 

The online course covers Sports Massage, Infection Control, and  Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology.  There are 2 days of practical attendance at our Manchester venue.

 

It can be done as a stand-alone course for those wishing to learn more about Sports Massage without the commitment of a full course.

  • Contra-indications – when you can and can’t massage

  • Contra-actions

  • Correct use of equipment

  • Use of PPE/Covid rules (will only be applicable until the requirements change)

  • Correct working posture and hand positioning

  • Sports Massage techniques applied to the legs, back, arms and shoulders.

  • Infection Control

  • Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology
