    This two day workshop will help you define, identify and treat various back and
    spinal pathologies. You will be able to recognise the main reasons for these
    common injuries in the back and spine and understand the anatomical and
    physiological structures that may be the cause of them, as well as external
    factors.

    DAY 1: Clinical Assessments and Treatments for back and spinal pathologies.
    DAY 2: Advanced Clinical Assessments and REHAB techniques for back and spinal
    pathologies.

  • Curriculum

    Clinical Assessment, Treatment & Rehab Techniques for the following pathologies:

    • Spinal Arthritis/ Osteoarthritis
    • Spondylosis
    • Ankylosing Spondylitis
    • Spinal Stenosis
    • Foraminal Stenosis
    • Disk herniation
    • Compressed nerve (radiculopathy)
    • Spinal Fractures
    • Osteoporosis
    • Spondylolysis/ Spondylolisthesis
    • Spinal Tumor
    • Breathing for Core Activation (Spinal protection)
    • SI Joint – Assessment & Treatment
    • Spinal Deformities – Scoliosis/ Kyphosis/ Lordosis
    • Cervical Release – Atlanto-axial joint
    • Red flags
    • Anatomy & Mononeuropathy of Spinal nerves
    • Nerve flossing

    Entry Requirements: Level 5 Qualification

    CPD Credits: 16

    Sports Massage is only a single aspect of Sports Therapy treatments, which also includes other dimensions like Posturology, Myofascial Release, Soft Tissue Manipulation, etc. Both practices should not be conflated, as Sports Therapy is more complex and inclusive for injury treatments.
