We appreciate that in today's market, you need to be able to do more than just help with motivation and goals, which is why we have designed our course to allow you to not only provide the best level of health coaching available, but also to give nutritional advice and coaching.

We are also unique in that we offer you additional certifications at no extra cost.  These additional certifications help you to stand out in the industry, and give you a head start over other health coaches!

Our accreditations mean you can join independent industry associations such as the UK & International Health Coaches Association, and the Federation of Nutritional Therapy Practitioners.

As part of your course, you will receive 12 months of UKIHCA student membership!

The course fee is £2499.00 which can be paid in full, with a 10% discount, and the course will be unlocked in full.   You can also pay with 12 monthly payments of £208.25 - the course modules will be unlocked over 12 months.

We are accredited by the IICT and IPHM to ensure your certification is recognised internationally.  If you are seeking international accreditation, please click here to download the IICT brochure.

The course is also approved by the UK & International Health Coaching Association

AHG Level 5 Advanced Diploma in Integrative Health and Nutrition Coaching (Vocational Certificate - UKIHCA Approved)

We understand that some of our learners study our courses for personal use, and do not require certifications, so we offer the opportunity to choose optional certifications (this does not affect the course content).

**Optional Certifications - must be booked within 6 weeks of enrolment, at the following costs:

TQUK Diploma in Integrative Health and Nutrition Coaching (TQUK Level 5 Endorsed course) - £450.00

TQUK Level 5 Certificate in Coaching and Mentoring - (Ofqual Regulated) - £450.00

What is the average duration of this course?

We recommend studying a minimum of 7 hours per week, which will take 18 months to complete.   If you can commit any extra study hours this will reduce the duration.

What is the ratio of coaching to nutrition and health?

We believe that a good health coach should have a solid knowledge of nutrition and health related subjects, so the course materials are fairly equally split 1/3 coaching, 1/3 nutrition and 1/3 health subjects.   On the live sessions we focus more on the coaching aspects to give you plenty of practical skills as a health coach.  We also have plenty of specialist live Zoom workshops where we delve deeper into nutrition, health and lifestyle wellness.

Are there assignments, exams and case studies?  How is the course assessed?

At the end of most of the modules there will be some type of assignment, usually short essay style, Q&A or self-reflection.  There is also an end of course knowledge review.   All learners have to undertake 25 coaching sessions, which constitutes your case studies.  We give ample training prior to this, and help our learners to access people looking to volunteer.

Do you provide client forms and programmes?

We provide you with a wide range of client forms, covering both coaching and nutrition. Whilst you are free to use these, we always encourage you to create your own when you know how you best work.  We also provide some generic programmes for you, and again, we provide these to use, but more importantly to show you how to create your own that are unique to you, and what you offer.

Working generically is not the best way when it comes to working with clients, and we teach you how to tailor the programmes to suit your clients.

What is the difference with all the different certifications available with the course?

Embedded within our course we have various different accreditations, however, we have found that not all of our learners want or need each one, and so we now have a base cost for the course, which includes the UKIHCA Approved AHG Level 5 Advanced Diploma in Integrative Health and Nutrition Coaching, which all learners receive upon successful completion.  This will allow the graduate to become a full member of the UK & International Health Coaches Association - the gold standard in Health Coaching!

We also give our learners the opportunity to obtain two additional TQUK Level 5 certificates, which some find useful if they are applying for Higher Education courses, or applying for management roles.  The lessons do not change if the candidate opts not to receive the additional certification.

What support is available during and after the course?

We have an experienced team, who are very happy to help our students (and graduates), and as they all have different specialisms, they work with our Student Support team, who ensures that you get help from the right person.  We also have a dedicated online portal where our students can interact with fellow students, graduates, mentors, and our team.   There is always someone online to help!

How long do I keep access to the course for?

Once you graduate, you can join our alumni, with access to the course materials for the lifetime of the course that you have booked.

Many of our graduates become student mentors, and as a thank-you gesture, they will get access to all course upgrades for the duration.

What are the career prospects for Health and Nutrition Coaches?
Health Coaching is the fastest growing profession within the health and wellbeing industry.   The NHS currently employ around  1,300 Health Coaches (as of April 2024), and are looking to grow this number.  Many Health Coaches are attached to GP surgeries, and there is a growing number of businesses that use Health Coaches for employee wellbeing.   We also teach our Health Coaches how to work with 1-on-1 clients, group coaching, and how to develop coaching programmes, which gives them the best start in running their own coaching practice. Health & Nutrition Coaches charge anywhere between £50 and £100 per session, depending on where they are based. Some of our own tutors charge £125 to £250 per session for their service.
