The Level 3 Health Coach Access Course is structured to introduce learners to the principles, skills, ethics and behavioural science underpinning modern health coaching. What is the average duration of this course? This course has a 6 months maximum duration.
What qualifications do I receive? Upon successful completion of the course, including any assignments and assessments, candidates will receive two qualifications: AHG Level 3 Certificate in the Foundations of Health Coaching; and TQUK Level 3 Award in Coaching and Mentoring (Ofqual Regulated)
Are there live sessions for this course? Yes, there are optional coaching workshops that you can attend. These are held at various times over the course, which are flexible to suit learners needs.
Can I practice as a Health Coach after this course? While this course has been designed primarily as an Access route into our higher-level qualifications, it does provide sufficient training to work within a limited and clearly defined scope of practice in health coaching. The course includes the TQUK Level 3 Award in Coaching and Mentoring, demonstrating to employers that you have successfully completed a nationally recognised qualification. If you intend to work directly with clients, we strongly recommend attending the optional coaching practice workshops to build confidence, competence, and real-world coaching experience.
Can I get insurance with this course? We work with different insurance providers, however, we expect all learners to do their due diligence when it comes to insurance. Many providers will not insure online courses where there is no practical training. We offer practical training workshops on our courses.
