Discover Our Inspiring Training Venue – The Monastery Manchester

Nestled in the heart of Manchester, The Monastery Manchester provides a truly unique setting for Active Health Group’s practical training days and practitioner gatherings.

While much of our teaching takes place online, our in-person training has found a natural home within this remarkable historic building. Over the years, the Monastery has been the base for our practical training sessions, student gatherings, and practitioner conferences, bringing together students, graduates, and tutors in an environment that encourages reflection, learning, and professional growth.

The Monastery is a Grade II listed building renowned for its stunning Gothic architecture and rich heritage. Beautifully restored, it combines historic character with modern facilities, creating a calm and inspiring space for immersive learning.

Surrounded by magnificent architecture and peaceful surroundings, many of our students say the atmosphere helps them step away from everyday distractions and fully focus on developing their skills and confidence as practitioners.

The venue is also very accessible, with excellent public transport links and ample free parking for visitors.

Beyond our training sessions, the Monastery itself is well worth exploring. Visitors can enjoy the welcoming café, the beautiful secret garden, and the stunning green oasis that has recently been created as a place for quiet reflection and connection with nature.
