Active Health Group Bursary Awards

At Active Health Group, we believe that high-quality professional training in health and wellbeing should be accessible to those who are committed to developing their skills and supporting others.  As part of our not-for-profit commitment, we occasionally offer a small number of Bursary Awards to help learners who may otherwise find course fees a barrier.

These bursaries are made possible through external funding and are therefore limited in number. As a result, they are not available for every course or every intake.

​

How Bursaries Work

​

Each bursary provides a reduction in course fees, with the exact amount depending on the programme.

Awards may range from £75 up to £750 depending on the course.

​

Bursary Awards are applied directly to the course fee and cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred to another course.

​

All standard course booking conditions apply.

Who Can Apply

​

Bursaries are intended for applicants who:

• wish to undertake training with Active Health Group
• meet the entry requirements of the chosen course
• would benefit from financial support in order to enrol

​

Applications are considered on an individual basis and reviewed according to personal circumstances and available funding.

​

Because bursary places are limited, they are generally offered to applicants who are ready to enrol in the upcoming intake.

Before Applying

​

Please ensure that:

• you have reviewed the course information and requirements
• you intend to enrol on the course if bursary support is approved
• you are able to cover the remaining course fees not covered by the bursary

​

This helps us ensure that the limited bursary funding available supports learners who are ready to begin their training.

How to Apply

​

Complete the bursary application form below.

​

If the form is not visible, this means that all currently available bursary places have already been allocated.

​

As part of the application process, you will be asked:

• which course you are interested in
• why you would like to undertake the training
• how receiving bursary support would help you at this time

​

Applications are normally reviewed within five working days, and applicants will be contacted with the outcome.

Bursary Terms & Conditions

​

Bursary Awards are applied as a reduction in course fees only. No cash transfers, refunds, or alternatives are available.

Applicants must meet the entry requirements of the chosen course.

Bursary Awards are non-transferable and apply only to the named course and applicant.

All standard course booking terms and conditions apply, including cancellation and refund policies.

Bursary Awards are subject to available funding and may be withdrawn if funding availability changes.

Successful applicants remain responsible for paying the balance of course fees not covered by the bursary.

Acceptance of a Bursary Award confirms agreement to these Terms & Conditions.

Successful applicants must complete course booking and payment within seven days of receiving bursary confirmation. If this does not occur within this timeframe, the bursary may be offered to another applicant.

Where a learner books and pays for a course but wishes to delay the start of their studies, the course must normally commence within six months of enrolment, unless otherwise agreed.
