Level 3 Diploma in Sports Massage Therapy

Now Combined Level 3 and 4 Sports Massage Therapy

To fall in line with the Sports Massage Regulator (CNHC) new requirements, we will no longer be offering a stand-alone Level 3 Sports Massage course, as CNHC will not accept this for registration.   You may be able to take Level 3 Sports Massage as a stand alone course with other providers , but not with Active Health Group, as  we do not feel that it is in the best interest of our students to offer them a course that will not be recognised when they graduate.  

We now offer a combined Level 3 and 4 course, and we have greatly reduced the combined cost compared to what it would cost for separate Level 3 and Level 4 courses.  Full details can are as follows:

  • Sports Injuries and Soft Tissue Dysfunction

Pre-requisite:

You will also need to complete VTCT (ITEC) Level 2 Award in Infection Prevention (COVID-19) for Complementary Therapies and Sports Massage.  This qualification will be provided for you free of charge, however, completion (online) is compulsory.

Including all awarding body registration, assessment, certification fees and STO student membership.

Duration

In addition to the course dates below, 2 additional days will be required for skills consolidation and VTCT exam/assessment, once all the home study and 100 hours case studies have been completed.   The Level 3/4 course consists of 16 days in class, plus two additional consolidation and assessment days.   In addition to this you will be required to attend approximately 60 hours of online Zoom theory lessons*, and  obtain 100 hours of case studies (many of which are completed in our student clinic).  There is also approximately 350 logged hours of home study on our online classroom to complete.  (You will need access to the internet, and a PC or Laptop with Word/PDF reader). Total Qualification Time: 670 hours - this meets the requirements for CNHC Sports Massage Registration.   *We have a flexible online schedule to support our learners.  

L3 &L4 Combined: 

All AHG courses come with an expiry date, which means that you have up till your expiry date to complete your course. Level 3/4 students have 18 months to complete their course starting from their first day in class.  

Financial Investment 

As a private training provider we do not receive government funding.  We also do not accept Advanced Learner Loans.

Course fees can be paid with a £400 deposit, and equal, interest-free monthly instalments over the duration of the practical training.  If you opt to pay your course fee in full at the time of booking, you will receive a 10% discount. Course fees vary and can be found next to the relevant course dates.

Intial 2 days -  30/31 January then either weekdays or weekends below.  Each set of dates is a complete course.
